When you first look at this ad it’s funny but if you take the time to read the news copy below, it’s anything but. Essentially what it says is that you could be indirectly financing terrorists and their activities. I don’t know about anyone else but the thought of that is jolting. I’m honestly shocked and appalled by that.

I think that’s exactly what they’re going for just so we could pay more attention to this problem. So now that we’re aware of the problem, we’ve been shocked to kingdom come. What can we do? How can we help? These are the questions I’m left with and this is where they would lose the audience. Not everyone’s going to go and Google this so maybe a website with information would have been a good solution.

I’m still a little shocked by the thought of indirectly helping terrorists. You?
