Diesel: Sex Sells

It’s fairly common and true that sex sells and Diesel is advocating that open in a nice, fun sort of way in this campaign.

However, I would say that I’m unimpressed by the look of these models. Everyone of them look doped up, high on something and even trashy. Is this what our society deem sexy? It must be since Diesel decided to trow thousands in executing this campaign and it would be safe to say that they have market research backing this.

I know personally – they seem like a ‘don’t do drugs’ campaign. If I replace the copy with that, our interpretation would easily be that these models had a bad night after doing drugs – not all of them but some in particular.

They should have just promote Lingerie or think of a better tag line that will sit the posing of the models if they want to sell they must think of a better way to advertise

the tagline is somewhat humorous ... but honestly i don't really see why this post here .

it really has nothing to do with design ... and it doesn't even have anything to do with photography or inspiration ( the shots are pretty basic , so basic they almost seem to be made by an amateur photographer with a $100 camera )
