Maurits Cornelis Escher usually referred to as M.C. Escher was a Dutch graphic artist. He is known for his often mathematically inspired woodcuts, lithographs, and mezzotints. These feature impossible constructions, explorations of infinity, architecture, and tessellations.

Today while judging a list of sites on The CSS Awards I came across American Village Builders a stunning design by Ryan Ford, creative director of deviantART. There were about five sites on the list and this one was just most memorable.

This ad is stunning. It manages to bring a level of elegance to and there’s a magic in the mannequins that I don’t think a real live person could bring. I think what I love the most is the emotion that’s communicated through these life-less objects.
