Redtape: Live Your Fantasy - Vending Machine

Redtape: Live Your Fantasy - Vending Machine

Red Tape is a footwear and apparels brand that symbolizes the ultimate male psyche, naughty, playful and obsessed about women. ‘Live your fantasy’ presents the male psyche in its simplest form, pure desire.

In this ad, they were going to convey the male fantasy and they hit it right on the head. As you go through each ad you’ll see they consistently meet the right mark. It’s sad but true what these ads are depicting about the male psyche. I’m not going to talk about the sexual aspect of this ad but I’ll allow the guys (or girls) to enjoy that.

I generally like this ad campaign. It uses the whole ’sex sells’ idea but in a fun and playful way. What they present is nothing close to reality, it’s clearly a fantasy. This approach makes anyone look at it, smile and say “yea right!” or “I wish.” Besides, it’s only saying what’s true so don’t shoot the messenger. What are your thoughts?
